Funeral services for Hilda Mae Hall, 88, of Tylertown, Mississippi will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Hartman Hughes Funeral Home with Reverend Randall Griffin officiating. Burial will be in the Tylertown Cemetery.

Mrs. Hall passed away at her residence in Tylertown, Mississippi on Wednesday, September 15, 2021. She was born January 5, 1933 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Percy and Emma Lee. Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Marlon "Shorty" Hall; brother Percy Wyatt "Buzz" Lee; infant twin granddaughters; and great-granddaughter Ann Catherine Smith.

Mrs. Hilda was a faithful member of Lexie Baptist Church. When she was in her 40's she began participating in horse shows. She was very proud of the awards she won. Cooking pulled pork and red bean with rice for the concession stand at the horse shows was also something she took pride in. Mrs. Hall enjoyed growing a beautiful vegetable garden and watching classic westerns on T. V.

Survivors include her children Mel Rose Hall (George "Skipper") Anderson and Toney Marlon (Cathy) Hall; grandchildren Jesse Hall, Jamie Lee (Greg) Childress, Brad (Melanie) Smith, Chad (Lori) Smith, and Valerie (Rob) Owens; great-grandchildren Lani Smith, Lawson Smith, Grayson Smith, Brady O'Quin, Garrett Smith, Brecken Owens, and Vale Owens; sisters Mary Lou Fortenberry and Irma Jean Broom; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers are Jeff Broom, Tim Broom, Lawson Smith, and Jesse Hall.

Visitation will be at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 9:00 AM until service at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
