Hogg graduated West Marion Academy in 1971, and married his sweetheart, Mrs. Peg May 4, 1973. He spent the entirety of adult life in the Lil Improve community where he served two separate terms as mayor until the great 'water tower gate' of '97 and the impeachment that followed. Afterward he resigned himself to the private sector. Bushhogg was a longtime employee of Jones Lumber Co, and spent the last several years at Walthall County Co op. He enjoyed chatting and being around people, but he was an animal lover and preferred animals to people most of the time, especially his faithful companion Puncho.

Hogg was a music lover! He enjoyed sharing his love of music with others. He played in various groups throughout the years, most recently the world famous "Hoggwood Band." They had a string of hits on Contemporary Jazz radio a few years back but faced scrutiny and were expelled from the musicians guild for only being able to play 3 chords.

He loved the outdoors! Unless it was too hot or too cold. Let's just say he enjoyed it from the confines of his home. He watched every TV show about Alaska that existed. He enjoyed watching sports as well, unless his preferred team wasn't doing well, then he enjoyed hollering at the TV.

He loved his family especially Mrs Peg. It gave him much joy to spend the last couple years of his life with two great grands! He enjoyed telling 'stories' to nieces and nephews. He enjoyed the company of his sister, even though she 'never shut up.' He enjoyed all, (well most) all of his in laws, and There's a bunch of them!

Keith was Past Master of Tylertown Lodge 392, were he loved the fellowship and brotherhood with the men! He was a longtime member of Carson Springs Baptist Church where he was baptized, married and will be buried. He loved attending Mission Ministries and singing and playing guitar for services.

He loved life! Probably loved you.. unless you are an Idiot, an LSU fan, a Vegetarian/Vegan, a Yankee, a Liberal, a Nazi, an Atheist, a well done steak eater, a soy or nut 'milk' drinker, or a climate expert…. Even then there were exceptions…

In lieu of flowers it was his request that donations be made to Mission Ministries, Or Ethnos 360 where his kids Chris and Rachel serve.
