Hoyt B Landry, 85 of Bourg, Louisiana passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023 in Knoxville, TN. She was born Tuesday, June 21, 1938 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Hugh Gordon and Ruby Pope Bearden. Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Daniel Landry and daughter Lynette Perkins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 10, 2023 from 9:00 AM until serviced time at 11:00 AM with Dr. Steve Folmar officiating  at Capps Funeral Home in 270 Old Hwy 98 E, Tylertown, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Tylertown, Mississippi. Capps Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hoyt enjoyed taking care of the farm, riding bikes and walking in her neighborhood, crocheting, playing piano, and going to church. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her sons Aaron Daniel Landry (Joella), Christopher David Landry (Geri) and Gavin Hugh Landry; brother Col Winston Hugh Bearden; son-in-law David Perkins; and 6 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Landry, Gavin Landry, Jacob Landry, Aaron Landry Jr., Jonathan Landry, and Bradley Perkins.
