Funeral services for Mr. J. Don Hall, 76, of McComb, will be held at 11 A. M on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Silver Creek Baptist Church with the Reverends Donnie Coker and Pat Bourg officiating. Burial will be in the Silver Creek Cemetery.

Mr. Hall passed away at Allegiance Specialty Hospital in Greenville, Mississippi on Tuesday, April 17, 2018. He was born April 16, 1942 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late John Jefferson Hall, Jr. and Billie Doris Fortinberry Hall. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his nephew John J. Hall IV; and his parents-in-law Fay Seward and Patricia Brock Smith.

He was a member of Silver Creek Baptist Church where he served on several committees and the Silver Creek Cemetery Association. He attended Progress School and graduated from Osyaka High School. He attended Southwest Community College and then Mississippi State University until he joined the U S Army. He was a dairy farmer for over 30 years until selling the dairy farm in 1998 after which he worked with MDOT until his retirement.



Survivors include his wife of 47 ½ years, Patricia Gail Smith Hall; son James (Tena) Hall; daughters Tricia Ann (Ray) McElveen, and Judy Larisa Sheets; brother John J. Hall III (Nancy); brothers-in-law Michael D. Smith, and Kim Lee Smith; ten grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew; and numerous cousins and other family members.

Visitation will be at Silver Creek Baptist Church on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 9:00 A.M. until service time there at 11:00 A.M.
