James Reeve Barrow

November 8, 1942 – September 22, 2023

James Reeve Barrow, 80 of Kokomo, MS passed away Friday, September 22, 2023 at his residence. He was born Sunday, November 8, 1942 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to the late James Reeve and Eloise Babin Barrow. Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife Shelia Barrow.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023 at Kokomo Baptist Church starting at 11:00 AM with Kevin Shows officiating.

Mr. Reeve was a member of Kokomo Baptist Church where he proudly served as a deacon for many years. He had a talent for fixing vehicles or just about anything else. Mr. Reeve was willing to help anyone in need. He enjoyed going to church and spending time with his friends and family.

Survivors include his sons Jason Barrow, Todd Barrow (Tammy) and Josh Barrow;  daughters Robin Stevens (George) and Robyn Jacob (Jason) of Gonzales, LA;  grandchildren Shantel Diez, Justin Diez (Ella), Courtney Diez, Zachary Barrow, Cameron Barrow, Brayden Carter, Jacie Jacob, and Camille Laporte;  great grandchildren Caley Duplessis, Ryder Rodriguez and Ryan Grace Scheffler; sister  Susan Matlock; along with a host of friends and family.
