Funeral services for Mr. James Manon Davis, 95, of Hattiesburg, will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist with the Rev. Stan Lobin officiating.

Mr. Davis passed away at 42 Heatherwood Trail, Lot 64 in Lincoln, Mississippi on Saturday, September 15, 2018. He was born October 15, 1922 in , Mississippi to Lura and James Davis.

He was preceded in death by James Davis (Father), Lura Davis (Mother), Lavon Sills (Sister), Margie White (Sister), Fannie Chesser (Sister), Jay Davis (Brother), Teressa Davis (Daughter), Jasper Davis (Son).

Survivors include Josefina Davis (Spouse), Johnny Davis (Brother), Elaine Cude (Sister), Annie Rushing (Sister), Pat Arnold (Daughter), Ramona Holmes (Daughter), Randy Davis (Son), Janet Davis (Daughter), James Davis (Son), and Amma Guerava (Step Daughter)

Mr. Davis proudly served in the army for 3 years. After retiring he enjoyed spending time with his fellow veterans.

Visitation will be at Pleasant Grove United Methodist on Monday, September 17, 2018from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM with graveside services following.
