James Monroe Guy

Mr. James Monroe Guy (known as Bean), 83, of Tylertown, MS passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2022. Bean was born November 7 ^th , 1938.

Graveside services will be at held Knoxo Cemetery on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at 2:00 PM with Bro. Dorman Laird officiating.

Mr. James attended The University of Southern Mississippi. He was an ROTC officer, member of the National Guard Reserve, and a retired U.S. postal worker. He was an avid golfer and had a great love for corvettes.

He was preceded in death by his father Austin Monroe Guy and mother Dixie Belle Blackwell Guy.

Survivors include his son James Richard Guy (known as Ricky), grandson Austin Gregory Guy, and granddaughters Bronwyn Elizabeth Guy and Nicole Rochelle Guy.

I would especially like to thank the doctors and nurses at Forrest General Hospital. They were so gracious and helpful to help me during my time of need.

His father and mother welcomed their son home with opened arms.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving son, Ricky, who is so thankful for the time he had with his loving father.
