James Bruce McCaffery

James Bruce McCaffrey, 76 of Tylertown, MS passed away Monday, January 2, 2023 in Tylertown, MS. He was born Monday, August 26, 1946 in Tylertown, Mississippi.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Centerville Baptist Church (Lexie) at 10:00 AM with Bro. Mike Anderson officiating.

Mr. Bruce was a longtime member of Centerville Baptist Church (Lexie) where he served as a deacon for many years. He was a hard-working man who was always willing to help others. Mr. Bruce  enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his family

He was preceded in death by his father James Albert McCaffrey and mother Clara Belle Wood McCaffrey.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years Barbara Ann Richmond McCaffery;  daughters Pennelope Ann McCaffery Cassell (Donald), Leah Page McCaffery and Pamela Renee Buchannan (Steve);  grandchildren Carol Ann Cassell Ashton (Andrew), James Garrett McCaffery, Gabe Wood and Raven Sierra Reid;  brother Jeffrey McCaffrey;  sister Anita Diane McCaffrey;  great grandchildren Mia Skye  McCaffery and Evan Lee Ashton.
