James Michael Stogner, 69 of Sandy Hook, MS passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022 at his residence. He was born Friday, February 6, 1953 in Tylertown, Mississippi. Mr. Stogner was a member of Pearl River Missionary Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 10:00 AM until funeral service at 12 noon at Pearl River Missionary Baptist Church, 1113 Hwy 35 South, Sandy Hook, Ms. Burial will follow in the Pearl River Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.  Brother Travis Taylor, Brother Yancy Magee, and Brother Richard Magee will officiate. Hartman Hughes Capps Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was preceded in death by his father James Stogner.

Survivors include his daughters Lacey Stogner and Candace Bond (Jeff); mother Evelyn Erwin Brumfield; brother Scotty Stogner (Barbara); sisters Brenda Magee and Sandy Rowley; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers will be Trey Pigott, Matthew Stogner, Adam Stringer, Shawn McFadden, Matthew Magee, and Deran Branch.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gifford Stogner, Billy McCain, Rodger Crain, and the Men's Class of Pearl River Missionary Baptist Church.
