Funeral services for Jane Cockrell Pigott, 84, of Marrero, Louisiana will be held at 2:30 PM on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Union Baptist Church in Tylertown with Rev. Jimmy Smith officiating.

Janie May Cockrell Pigott passed from this life on Saturday, July 13, 2019.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a son John Edward Pigott, and her husband of 25 years, James Walker Pigott.

Janie was a loving mother, a beautician and worked for Amtrak where she retired. She loved designing and sewing creative outfits for herself and her children.

Janie is survived by her sons; Jimmy Ray Pigott, Jesse Williams Pigott (Audrey) of Tylertown, Danny Joe Pigott, and Wayne Douglas Stevens of Marrero, Louisiana; her grandchildren Michael Eubanks (Monica), Tonya Brister (Jackie), and Derek Eubanks (Tanya).

Pallbearers are Wade Greer, Michael H. Eubanks,Michael Eubanks, Bryce Reid, Dustin Broussard and Tommy Pigott; the  alternate will be Milton Dunaway.

Honorary pallbearers Jackie Brister, Milton Dunaway, and Charles Gibbs.

Visitation will be at Union Baptist Church on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 from 1:00 PM until service time at 2:30 PM.
