Obituary

Janell H Stogner, 86 of Dallas, GA passed away Monday, March 11, 2024 at her residence. She was born Tuesday, July 6, 1937 in Poplarville, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 11:00 AM until funeral service at 1:00 PM at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home, 412 Beulah Ave. Tylertown, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Centerville Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.  Reverend Tommy Hudnall will officiate. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Stogner was a member of Centerville Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. She was an avid reader. Mrs. Janell enjoyed cooking, watching T.V., dinning out, playing dominoes, and holding long conversations with everyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Wendell Stogner; father Louie C. Hartfield, Sr.; mother Elcie Holden Hartfield; brothers Acy C. Hartfield and Louie C. Hartfield, Jr.; and sister Gloria Simmons.

Survivors include her daughter Cheryl Hebert (Dale); grandchildren Ian Charles Hebert (Katie), Cathryn Janell Hebert, and Grace Caroline Hebert; sister-in-law, Betty T. Hartfield: along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

Pallbearers will be Dale Hebert, Ian Hebert, Owen Henry, and J. B. Desselle.
