Graveside services for Jerry Nell Brumfield Laird, 83, of Tylertown, MS will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Knoxo Cemetery with Reverend Jim Ennis officiating.

Mrs. Laird passed away at her residence in Tylertown, MS on Saturday, February 20, 2021. She was born March 23, 1937 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Nellie and Ellis Brumfield. Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Dalton Laird; mother Jessie Brumfield; sister Mary Ellen Coker; brothers-in-law Clyde Coker and Dorroh Laird; and sister-in-law Daphne Laird Levin.

Mrs. Jerry was a faithful member of Knoxo Baptist Church and served as church treasurer. For 50 years Mrs. Jerry was bank teller for Trustmark National Bank in Tylertown, MS. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Her favorite pastimes were keeping up with her grandchildren and reading.

Survivors include her son Michael D (Janet) Laird; grandchildren Lani (Chess) Jackson and Jace (Kristy) Laird; great grandchildren Reggie Michael Laird, Emmie Raye Jackson, Darlie Lee Jackson, and Layla Marie Laird; brothers-in-law Duel (Alma) Laird and Dorman (Henrietta) Laird; sister-in-law Judy Laird Rawls; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers are Jace Laird, Chess Jackson, Reggie Laird, Chris Mitchell, Greg Ray, and Michael Laird.
