Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Pigott, 72, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, July 2, 2018 at Crystal Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Stevens officiating.  Burial will be in the Crystal Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Pigott passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.  He was born March 16, 1940 in Walthall County, Mississippi to the late Clyde Fredrick and Georgia Parnell Stogner Pigott. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a brother Clyde F. Pigott, Jr.; and brother-in-law Harold Dillon.

He was a member of Crystal Springs Baptist Church and a teacher and principal retired from the Dexter School.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years Martha Stringer Pigott; sons Jerry Christopher Pigott (Lisa), and Ronnie Twain Pigott (Kimberly); sisters Jean Bourne (Billy), and Jane Dillon; grandchildren Maddox Marie Pigott, Hamilton Christopher Pigott, Kayla Anne Pigott, Eric Twain Pigott, Gerald Milton, and Ashley Maxell; niece Lori Fast; and nephews Tommy Bourne, and Craig Pigott.

Visitation will be at Capps Funeral Home on Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Monday, July 2, 2018 from 9:00 A.M. until service time there at 10:00 A.M.
