Jerry Thomas Schivers, 81 of Tylertown, MS passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024 at the Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg, MS. He was born Monday, June 29, 1942 in Louisiana.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Pike Memorial Gardens in McComb, MS. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Schivers was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He was a man for many talents like playing the guitar, painting, and being a pilot. Mr. Jerry enjoyed watching college sports, cooking, gardening, operating a ham radio, and anything science fiction.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marsha Meador Schivers; father, J T Schivers; mother, Seba Holmes Ginn; brother, Mike P. Ginn; and sister, Polly Schivers.

Survivors include his son, Jerrell Schivers; daughter, Samantha Schivers; brother, Roger Ginn (Cindy); sisters, Barbara Ginn Wallace (Larry), Linda Ginn Metz (Ricky), Pat Ginn Broussard, and Donna S. Goode.

Pallbearers will be Keith Holmes, Chad Dillon, Eric Thomas, and Larry Wallace.
