Funeral services for Mr Jesse Stogner, 86, of Sandy Hook, Mississippi will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home in Chapel with Rev. Archie Herrin officiating.

Mr. Stogner passed away at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on Sunday, September 13, 2020. He was born January 16, 1934 in Walthall County, Mississippi to the late  Lula and Jesse Stogner. He is also preceded in death by his brother Paul Stogner.

He enjoyed playing dominoes and when he was younger enjoyed hunting. Mr. Stogner enjoyed farming and was able to have vegetables for his family. He had a great since of humor and loved to joke and kid around with people. He was also a member of Bogalusa Baptist Church.

Survivors include his sisters Luvenia Woodard, Bessie L Stogner, Ethel Beard, Gracie Inez Martin, Myrtis Rowell, Kathlene Barber, and Mary Lunn; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers are Kenneth Beard, Eddie Barker, Chris Lunn,and Dolphus Woodard.

Honorary pallbearers are Ralph Woodard and Rufus Woodard .

Visitation will be at Hartman-Hughes Chapel on Saturday, September 19, 2020from 11:00 AM until service time at noon.
