Jessica LeEllen Jones, 44 of Tylertown, MS passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025 in Hattiesburg, MS. She was born Wednesday, September 3, 1980 in McComb, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 9:00 AM until memorial service at 10:00 AM at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home, 412 Beulah Ave., Tylertown, MS with Reverend Justin Knight and Rev. Millard Moak officiating. Burial will follow in Tylertown Cemetery. Hartman Hughes Capps Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Jessica was a member of Union Baptist Church and often attended Tylertown Baptist Church with her mother. She was a devoted dispatcher for the Walthall County Sheriff's Department for 22 years. Her presence in the office will be sorely missed. She enjoyed cooking, riding four-wheelers, and spending time with her beloved fur babies, Miss Kitty and Gracie.

She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Gene Pevey, Jr; paternal grandparents Bill and Mary Pevey; maternal grandparents Denver and Nancy Kennedy.

Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Jimmy R. Jones; mother, Sandra Kennedy Schilling (Joe); brother, Jason R. Pevey (Lisa); niece, Brianna Adams (Aaron); uncle, Benton Kennedy (Abby); cousin, Keagan Kennedy (Sarah); and mother-in-law, Ethel Jones: along with a host of loving family and friends.

Honorary pallbearers will be Walthall County Sheriff`s Department and Good News Sunday School Class Tylertown Baptist Church.
