Jessie Ray Boyd, 71 of Fort Worth, TX passed away Thursday, September 18, 2025. He was born Thursday, July 22, 1954 in Tylertown, MS to the late Donald Boyd and Lexie Rushing Boyd. Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by his brothers, Clifford Boyd and Donald Boyd, Jr.; sister, Laura Mae Bergeron.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025 from 10:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM at Capps Funeral Home, 270 Old Hwy 98 E, Tylertown, MS. Burial will follow in the Boyd Cemetery in Salem, MS. Pastor Kevin Collier and Rev. Billy Brumfield will officiate. Hartman Hughes Capps Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-876-3712

Survivors include his son, Jessie Janson Boyd (Katie); daughter, Misty Keeth (Donny); grandsons, Jared Wall (Jessica), Skyler Morgan, Braydon Boyd and Sylas Boyd; granddaughters, Sabrina Wall, and Waverly Boyd; 2 great grandchildren; brothers, Jim Boyd (Janelle) and Rickie Boyd; sister, Lou Blanchard (Cubby); along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Special music will be performed by Lottie Collier.
