Jewel Abney Rollins

January 9, 1948 – February 19, 2021

Funeral services for Jewel Abney Rollins, 73, of Picayune, MS will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Hartman-Hughes Chapel with Rev. Dan Perry officiating.

Mr. Rollins passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021. He was born January 9, 1948 in Tylertown, MS to the late Beatrice and Arthur Rollins.

Mr. Jewel enjoyed cutting the grass; working on motors and teaching his son how to do the same, watching westerns, and eating with the family.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years Josephine Rollins; children Cathy (Tim) Gaff, Lisa (James) Stockstill, and Jewel David Rollins; grandchildren  Timothy (Jessica) Gaff, Nickie (Christopher) Gilchrist, Blake (Christina) Stockstill, Jewel Monroe (Jamee) Gaff, Arnishie (Zyan Cantrelle) Gaff, Jennifer (Josh) Luke, Chad Nathan (Parker) Rollins, Chance Colby Rollins; 21 great-grandchildren; brothers Douglas (Sharon) Rollins and William (Diane) Rollins; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family .

Pallbearers are Chad Rollins, Tim Gaff, Moe Gaff, Timothy Gaff, Blake Stockstill, Chance Rollins, and Chris Gilchrist.

Visitation will be at Hartman-Hughes Chapel on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 5:30 PM until 8:30 PM.
