Jimmy R. Berry, 75, of Sandy Hook, MS passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. He was born on November 14, 1950, to the late Langston George Berry and Thelma Mae Berry. Along with his parents his is also preceded in death by his son, Joshua Berry; brothers, Luther Berry and Edward Berry.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 19 years, Patricia Berry; son, Michael Berry (Leslie); granddaughter, Kayla Berry; brothers, Kenneth Berry and Wayne Berry.

Mr. Berry owned and operated a store for many years and worked for Wal-Mart. He enjoyed sitting on his back porch watching nature and working on automobiles.

A visitation will be held at Capps Funeral Home, 270 Old Hwy 98 Tylertown, MS 39667, on October 5, 2026, from 10:00 AM until a memorial service at 11:00 PM. Hartman Hughes Capps is in charge of arrangements.
