Jimmy D. Shepherd, 73 of Tylertown, Mississippi passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at his residence. He was born Friday, April 7, 1950 in Meridian, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home in 412 Beulah Ave Tylertown, Mississippi. Followed by graveside service at 11:00 AM at Tylertown Cemetery II. Reverend Randall Griffin will officiate. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Shepherd was a proud member of the United States Coast Guard. He worked 20 plus years as a salesman for Clear Spanned Components. He enjoyed drawing houses and buying trucks.

He was preceded in death by his father James Edward Shepherd; and wife Joy Shepherd.

Survivors include his son Rusty Shepherd (Debbie); daughters Laura Smith (Steven) and Holly Fountain (Mark); 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; mother Marty Shepherd; brother Tommy Shepherd (Pam); sister, Rena Conerly (Mark), mother of his children Sarah Murphy; along with a host of loving friends and family.

Pallbearers will be Zachery Malone, Nathan Smith, Garrett Huckabay, Nolan Huckabay, Lee Shepherd, and Brogan Shepherd.
