John Richard "Richey" Baker, 53 of McComb, MS passed away Thursday, September 8, 2022. He was born Tuesday, March 11, 1969 in Baton Rouge, LA.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 6:00 PM at Silver Creek Baptist Church, 8017 Silver Dr. McComb, MS 39648. Hartman Hughes Capps Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Richey was a good ole boy with a cowboy spirit. He was the best bridge diver and fence jumper. Richey enjoyed hosting parties, cooking on the grill, boiling peanuts or crawfish, riding motor cycles or horses, and fishing. His optimism and caring heart will be missed by all that knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father John Thomas Baker; and mother JoAnn Chambers Baker.

Survivors include his sons, Drake Baker, Graysen Baker, Joey Eubanks (Jenny), Draven Eubanks and William Stanford; grandsons, Aidan Stanford, Rowdy Payne Redditt, and Wilder Reign Redditt;  granddaughters, Addiline Eubanks, AudreyAnna Eubanks, and Ansleigh Eubanks;  sisters Karen Couvillon and Debra W Smith (Curtis);  sons of the heart Dallas Whitehead, Hayze Roach, Bill McDavid (Kimmy), and Joe Gill; brothers of the heart Billy Stanford, Gary McKenzie, and Ed Stinson; mother of his children Dee-Dee Baker; along with a host of loving friends and family.
