Private graveside services for Mr. Joe Ladner, 86, were held at 6 P.M. on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Crystal Springs Cemetery in Dexter, MS.

Mr. Ladner passed away at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on Thursday, July 19, 2018.  He was born September 7, 1931 in Walthall County, Mississippi to the late James and Mary Ladner. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ladner was also preceded in death by his wife Martha Ann Alford Ladner. He enjoyed farming, and working in the garden and yard. Joe was a member of Crystal Springs Baptist Church where he served as Sunday school teacher of the men's class for many years.

Survivors include his daughters Sandra Stringer and Lisa (Brett) Jones; sons Joey (Karen) Ladner and John (Amy) Ladner; grandchildren Jeremy (Kerry) Jones, Jonathan (Paula) Jones, Derek (Amanda) Ladner, Christen Ladner, Kole Stringer, Emily Ladner, Blake (Lindsey) Ladner, Katie (Tyler) Thomas, and Caleb (Alyssa) Ladner; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.
