Joseph William Ervin

September 16, 1937 – December 10, 2019

Funeral services for J. W. Ervin, 82, of Sandy Hook, MS will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Hartman-Hughes Chapel with Brother Bryan Terrell officiating. Burial will be in the Tylertown Cemetery II.

Mr. Ervin passed away at his residence in Sandy Hook, Mississippi on Tuesday, December 10, 2019. He was born September 16, 1937 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Quida and Will Ervin. He was also preceded in death by his great-granddaughter Andria Prine.

Mr. J. W. was a good ole boy that loved to spend time with family. He lived life to the fullest and love to listen to Joel Olsteen.

Survivors include his  children George(Ashley) Ervin, Tommy (Dianne) Ervin, Andy Ervin, Leisa (Neil) Brown, and Teresa Berberich; grandchildren Ashley Ervin, Chrissy (Shane) Crain, Jeromey Prine, Scotty Prine, Laken Hilburn, Carmen(Dillon) Powell, Toni (Bo) Whitmore, D.J. Ervin, Samantha Koepp, Crystal Prine, and Matt Hilburn; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers Charles (Carolyne) Ervin and Jimmy Dale Ervin; sisters Renet (Larry) Tullos and Peggy (Louie) Fortenberry; mother of his children Georgia Ervin; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers are George Ervin, Neil Brown, Tommy Ervin, D.J. Ervin, Scotty Prine, and Jeromey Prine.

Honorary pallbearers are Dillon Powell.

Visitation will be at Hartman-Hughes Chapel on Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 10:00 AM until service at 11:30 AM.
