Joy Lynn Bedwell Reagan, 68 of Tylertown, MS passed from this life into God's presence on Friday, January 17, 2025 at the Myrtles Nursing Center in Columbia, Mississippi. She was born Sunday, December 2, 1956 in Mississippi the youngest of six children to the late Albert Bedwell and Pearlie Mae Pittman Bedwell. Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband John Mark Reagan; sisters Nita Smith and Pat Mitchell; and brother Allen Bedwell.

Survivors include her sisters, Janich Wilks (Ted) and Rosa C. Kemp (Oscar); nephew, Parker Mitchell (Cathryn); along with a host of loving family and friends.

Mrs. Joy was a graduate of West Marion High School. She furthered her education at Pearl River Community College as a R.N.. Joy dedicated herself to a fulfilling career of caring and serving for over 46 years. She considered her faith in her savior, "Jesus Christ" to be her greatest achievement.

A graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 5:00 PM at Crystal Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Dexter, MS with Brother Mike Moree officiating. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
