Joyce McKenzie Pigott, born September 12, 1933, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026, at her home.   She was preceeded in death by her parents Kelly McKenzie and Hattie Reagan McKenzie and husband Rex Pigott.

Survived by a son Mike Pigott (Lynn) of Tylertown and a daughter Treva Reid (Marlin) of Centreville, MS.

Grandchildren –Keith Pigott (Jennifer) Petal, MS; Katie Lynn Buckhaults of Ellisville, MS; Kelly Reid (Aileen)East Camden, AR; Les Reid (Tia), Monticello, AR; Daniel Reid (Sabrina), Gulfport, MS.

Great-Grand Children - Hunter Pigott, Kaleb & Brynlee Dillon; Charlie and Alvin Buckhaults; John Parker, Jay Dylan, Landon, Luke, Lane, Brooklyn, and Addalyn Reid. One niece, Sandra Pigott McNair, Brandon, MS

A lifelong resident of Tylertown, Ms Pigott worked in Wathall County School Food Service for many years. She was a member of Tylertown Baptist Church where she enjoyed playing dominoes with friends.  She also enjoyed putting puzzles together with her dear friend Teresa Fortenberry.  Visitors enjoyed her many beautiful flowers. Visitors could also find her watching Walker, Texas Ranger with her buddy Milo in her lap.

Pall Bearers are great-grandsons Hunter Pigott, Kaleb Dillon; Charlie and Alvin Buckhaults; John Parker, Jay Dylan, Landon, Luke, and Lane Reid; Braxton Brumfield, and Keith Davis.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 2:00 PM until funeral service at 3:00 PM at Hartman Hughes Funeral Home, 412 Beulah Ave. Tylertown, MS 39667. Burail will follow in the New Zion Cemtery. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
