G raveside services for Mrs. Ann Holmes, 70, will be held at 10 A. M. on Friday, June 8, 2018 with the Reverend Randall Griffin officiating.  Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Holmes passed away at Diversicare-Tylertown on Wednesday, June 6, 2018.  She was born March 3, 1948 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late George Alver and Julia Aline Johnson Smith.

She was a member of Lexie Baptist Church and had been a secretary for many years working with Farm Bureau Insurance, Terry Boyd Insurance, and the Walthall County Tax Collector's office.  Mrs. Holmes enjoyed reading, working word search puzzles, working with her flowers, and visiting with family and friends.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years Victor E. Holmes; sister Bonnie Skinner (Sammy); brother-in-law Richard (Jo) Holmes; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Capps Funeral Home on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 9:00 A.M. until 9:45 A.M.
