Funeral services for Mr. Julius Lampton Bacot, Sr, 82, of Tylertown, will be held at 2 P.M on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Capps Funeral Home with Father Martin Gillespie officiating.  Burial will be in the Bacot Family Cemetery.

Mr. Bacot passed away at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb, Mississippi on Friday, June 29, 2018.  He was born March 21, 1936 in Walthall County, Mississippi to the late Byron Sibley and Louise Alford Bacot.

He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Tylertown.  He had served in the U. S. Army and the National Guard and had worked as an Extrusion Supervisor Poly Flex and had also worked with Kellwood.  Mr. Bacot enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, driving his golf cart, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Frances Tanner Bacot; sons Julius (Lisa) Bacot, and Bryon (Stefanie) Bacot; daughter Tammy (Ricky) Burnette; grandsons Andy (Kamie) Bacot and Zack Bacot; granddaughters Kristen (William) Hutchinson, and Hanna Bacot; and great- granddaughters Alexis and Alysa Bacot.

Pallbearers will be Jay Bacot, Tyler Bacot, Kyle Bacot, Sammy Magee, Jack Alford, and Steve Reulet.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Vernon Alford, Jack Bacot, Jack Alford, Steven Reulet, and Grady Alexander.

Visitation will be at Capps Funeral Home on Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 11:30 A.M. until service time there at 2:00 P.M.
