Funeral services for Kayden Troy Thomas, 12, of Sandy Hook, Mississippi will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Dexter Pentecostal Church with Jerry Terrell officiating. Burial will be in the Carson Springs Church Cemetery.

Kayden passed away at his residence in Sandy Hook, Mississippi on Sunday, July 4, 2021. He was born September 10, 2008 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to Erica Thomas. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents Robert Thomas and Dixie Mae Thomas, Albert Leon Hill, and Brinnon Dillon; uncles Keith Hill and Tim Owens.

Kayden was a very happy little boy whom always had the biggest smile. He was his mothers, pawpaw, and maw maw pride and joy. Kayden never meet a stranger and was loved by many. He enjoyed being outside where he would ride the tractor and the four-wheeler.  Kayden also liked music and dinosaurs. His family will miss him dearly.

Survivors include his mother Erica Thomas; grandparents Troy and Judith Thomas; great grandmother Kathleen Dillon; aunts Jennifer (Jerry) Hicks, April (Zachary Estess) Thomas, Carolyn (Hambone) Sutton, Wanda (Tony) Valure, Jackie (Jeff Hines) Smet, Lillie (Albert) Todora, and Dawanna Kay (Darrell) Jordan; uncles Nick (Paula Camardelle) Schillings, Greg (Jennifer) Hill, Perry (Kathy) Hill and Dakota Sutton; sister Paislee Thomas; and numerous cousins and loving family.

Pallbearers are Gage Kennedy, Eli Kennedy, Nick Schillings, Zachary Estess, Robert Graves, and Chance Smet.

Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Hicks, Troy Thomas, Hambone Sutton, Dakota Sutton, Bobby Woodard, Charles Martin, and Rocky Kennedy.

Visitation will be at Dexter Pentecostal on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 from 5:00 PM until family's discretion.

In lieu of flowers the family has request donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
