Kenneth Louis Beard

Kenneth Louis Beard, 65 of Tylertown, MS passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025 at his residence. He was born Monday, February 8, 1960 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Felder Louis and Ruth Elizabeth Brumfield Beard. Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by his brother, Michael Lynn Beard, Sr; sister, Joan Loretta Beard.

Mr. Beard was a man that never met a stranger; he enjoyed meeting new people and would hold a conversation like he had known you forever. He liked listening to music, playing his guitar, fishing, reading, being outdoors, watching Ole Miss sports and the Saints, and doing yard work; in his younger years he enjoyed riding his motorcycle. A big part of his life was being with his family, being able to spend time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Amy Wilks Beard; son, Brennen Louis Beard (Kristen); daughters, Ashley Smith McCarson (Russell) and Meagan Smith Resendez (Louis); grandchildren, Bryce Louis Beard, Evelyn Dixie Beard, Louis "LJ" Jon Resendez and Ada James McCarson; along with a host of friends and loving family.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
