Kenneth Wayne Mercer

February 7, 1948- October 31, 2025

Kenneth Wayne Mercer, 77 of Tylertown, MS passed away Friday, October 31, 2025. He was born Saturday, February 7, 1948 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his father, William J Mercer; mother, Rena Williamson Mercer. Mr. Kenneth will be laid to rest at Port Hudson National cemetery in Zachary, LA at a later date.

Survivors include his daughters, Belissa Estes and Erin Kariuki (Peter);  brother, Ricky Mercer;  sisters, Janet White (William) and Gloria Entrekin (Doug);  grandchildren, Forrest Estes( Savanah), Conner Estes, Zoie Estes-Webb, Benjamin Kariuki, Alissa Kariuki and Kenneth Kariuki;  great grandchildren, Avery Grace Estes, Nora Quinn Estes and Bradley Castner;  a very dear friend  Rebecca Craft; adopted grandchild, Alyssa McKelphin; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Kenneth enjoyed building things, working on model cars, and spending time with family. He was a member of the navy and served during the Vietnam War. He always said all he wanted in life from people was a kind word and a smile. He was someone that never met a stranger, he loved to talk. He will be missed by all that knew him.
