Funeral services for Mr. Kerney Fay Craft Sr., 88, of Covington, LA will be held Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 11:15 a.m. at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home in Tylertown, MS. Burial will follow at Sartinville Cemetery.

Mr. Craft passed away at his residence in Covington, LA on Friday, January 4, 2019. He was born April 13, 1930 in Carriere, MS to the late Mr. and Mrs. James Craft. He is also preceded in death by his wife of 65 ½ years Ruby Nell Craft and his brothers Edwy Gene Craft and Hugh Charles Craft.

Survivors include his son Kerney Craft Jr. and wife Debra; daughter Beverly Lilly and husband Thomas; grandchildren Kerney Craft III with wife Brittany, Kody Craft, and Andrew Gordon with his wife Caroline; brother James Albert Craft along with numerous nephews and nieces.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Covington and he was a long-time member of First Baptist Church Arabi. He grew up in Sartinville and lived there until he joined the Navy. Mr. Craft worked for Kaiser Aluminum for 25 years and is passionate about his family and grandsons. He also loved his 1967 International Harvester Tractor.

Pallbearers will be Kerney Craft III, Kody Craft, Andrew Gordon, Kerney Craft Jr., Thomas Lilly, and Peter Labarre.

Visitation will be held at Hartman – Hughes Funeral Home in Tylertown, MS  on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 9:00 A.M. until the service at 11:15 A.M.
