Laura Lee Dixon, 93 of Tylertown, MS passed away Sunday, February 06, 2022; she was born Saturday, November 02, 1928 in Tylertown, Mississippi. A graveside service will be held for Mrs. Dixon at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 with Rev. Justin Knight officiating.

Mrs. Dixon worked at the Haspell plant for 22 years. Later she went to Southwest to become a LPN where she was the President of her class. While attending school she would bake cakes for her community to raise money pay for her education. She became a LPN at the age of 57.  She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting, and reading. To know her was to love her; she will be missed by all that knew her.  She was also a member of Tylertown Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Dixon;  father, Seth  Anderson Beard;  mother, Ollie Dillon Beard;  brother, Elbert Beard;  sister, Peggy Beard Martin.

Survivors include her sons Michael L Dixon and Jewell A Dixon (Teresa); daughter Carolyn Robertson (Donald); 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; along with a host of newphews, nieces, cousins, and loving friends.
