Funeral services for Mrs. Leona Ginn, 96, will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday October 28, 2017 from the Centerville Baptist Church. The Reverends Wayne Hall and Mike Anderson will officiate. Mrs. Ginn died at the Diversicare of Tylertown on Wednesday, October 25, 2017.
She was born March 28, 1921 in Bogalusa, Louisiana, the daughter of the late John Ira and Pearlie Johnson Magee. She was a housewife and the oldest member of Centerville Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Criss Ginn. Three sisters: Johnnie Brumfield, Nell Cox, and Flossie Yarborough. Two brothers: Bill Magee and Pete Magee.
Mrs. Ginn is survived by one son, Danny and wife, Vickie Ginn of Tylertown. One granddaughter, Brittany and husband, Wesley Alford. One great-grandchild, Bryce Alford.
Pallbearers will be: Martin Burch, Tommy Johnson, Roger Ginn, Ralph Stinson, Tony Polk, and Reverend Gary Marshall.
Burial will be in the Centerville Cemetery with Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 5 till 8 P.M. and on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 10 A.M. till service time at 11 at Centerville Baptist Church.
