Linda Joy Harvey, 88 of Tylertown, MS passed away Friday, July 18, 2025 at her residence. She was born Monday, August 24, 1936 in Walthall County, MS to the late Wilburn Dunaway and Juanita Dunaway. Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Wesley O. Harvey, Sr.; son, Nelson Todd Harvey; brother, Jerry Dunaway; and sister, Nancy Louise Dunaway.

Visitation will be held at Capps Funeral Home, 270 Old Hwy 98 E, Tylertown, MS on Sunday, July 20, 2025 from 1:00 PM until funeral service at 2:00 PM followed by burial in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Brother David Watson and Rev. Buddy Day will officiate. Capps Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Linda was raised in McComb, MS and after marriage moved back to Walthall County where she was very active in her community. She was well known as an advertising representative for The Tylertown Times and served as a board member for the Walthall County Country Club. Ms. Linda was an avid golfer and seamstress. After her retirement she enjoyed card games with friends. She will be missed deeply by all that knew her.

Survivors include her son, Wesley O. "Sput" Harvey, Jr. (Beverly); daughter, Linda Susan Bracey (Bob); grandchildren, Jennifer Turek (Troy), Lauren Cranford (Chad), Allen Bracey (Andrea), Wesley O. "Wes" Harvey, III, Christopher Bracey (Kaylan), Garrett May, and Chancey Cornell (Cody); great grandchildren, Logan Turek, Addison Turek, Kye Harvey, Grant Carter, Cooper Bracey, Macey Cranford, Benson Cranford, Brooks Bracey, Evelyn "Evie" Cornell, and Autumn Bracey; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers will be Allen Bracey, Wes Harvey, Christopher Bracey, Garrett May, Cody Cornell, and Troy Turek.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kye Harvey, Grant Carter, Cooper Bracey, and Brooks Bracey.

Special music will be performed by Wanda Brock.
