Linda Gayle Magee, 80 of Tylertown, MS passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024 in Columbia, Ms. She was born Tuesday, October 19, 1943 in Gadsden, Alabama.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Capps Funeral Home in 270 Old Hwy 98 E, Tylertown, Mississippi. A graveside will follow at 11:30 AM at Elliott Cemetery.  Mike Hollingsworth will officiate. Hartman Hughes Capps Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-876-3712

After high school Mrs. Linda continued her education and received a bachelor's degree in nursing. Then she married the love of her life and became a dairy farmer along side her husband, John Henry Magee.  Mrs. Magee was a devoted mother and wife. She enjoyed crocheting, traveling with friends, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years John Henry Magee; father, William Harvey Gamblin; and mother, Gertie Ann Brady Gamblin.

Survivors include her daughters, Cindy Magee Hollingsworth (Mike) and Denise Magee Barber (Tim); grandchild, John Michael Jones; great grandchildren, Hayden Barber, Jolee Barber, Aedyn James Barber, and Taryn Barber; sister, Catherine Elaine Hamlin; along with a host of loving family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Trent Barber, Scott Thompson, Chris Martinez, Ethan Warden, Daniel McNeese, and Sean Morris.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Barber, Michael Jones, Mike Hollingsworth, and T W Bearden.
