Lorene Mildred Beard, 93 of Tylertown, MS went to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 13, 2022. She was born Monday, January 21, 1929 in Marion County, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022 from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM at Capps Funeral Home, 270 Old Hwy 98 E, Tylertown, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Reverend Justin Knight will officiate. Hartman Hughes Capps Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Lorene was born during the great depression. She was a Christian woman that loved the Lord and her church and was also a deacon's wife. As a member of Tylertown Baptist church, she was an active member of the friendship club and the serving committee in the kitchen. She enjoyed working in her yard, shopping trips with family, and was a fantastic cook. She loved her family and her favorite pastime was walking in her neighborhood with friends daily. She was an exceptional seamstress and enjoyed making her daughters' church dresses and clothes for their Barbie dolls. She was a supportive military wife for 44 years traveling the United States and settling in Tylertown, MS. She lived a life of service and always put others before herself. She was happy if she was able to cook a hot meal and have her family gather around the table.

She was preceded in death by her husband William T (Billy) Beard; father Seaman M Bullock; mother Ettie Lott Bullock; daughter Cherry Beard Smith; granddaughter Cory Turner Trevino; siblings Delos Bullock, Pearl Bullock, J.D. Bullock, Johnny Bullock, Birdie Bullock, Bertha Simmons, Bennie Poshedly and Verlene Bankston.

Survivors include her daughters Gale Beard Prine (Glen) and Connie Beard McGinnis (Bobby); grandchildren Sabrina Raborn (Joey), Les McGinnis, Linzee McGinnis Rouse (Tony), Lauren Mcginnis Bivens (Lucas); great grandchildren Chelsea, Savannah, Tony, Kayley, Josh, Kenadie, Kip, and Colt; great great-grandchildren Anthony and Everleigh.

Pallbearers will be Harold Crain, Steven Simmons, Josh Raborn, Joey Raborn, Les McGinnis, Tony Rouse, Lucas Bivens, and Keith Fortinberry

Honorary pallbearer will be Kiptyn Blackwell.
