Funeral services for Lucy McCain, 69, of Sandy Hook, will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Hartman-Hughes Chapel with Bro. Richard Magee and Bro. Carl Dickens officiating. Burial will be at Foresthaven Church Cemetery.

Mrs. McCain passed away at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on Tuesday, September 24, 2019. She was born September 19, 1950 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Rosener and Edgar Thomas. She was also preceded in death by her brother Billy Thomas, sister Georgia Moore, great-granddaughter Savanah Dhindsa; and two bother-in laws J.D. Moore and Marvin Magee.

Mrs. McCain was a member of Foresthaven Baptist Church. She also enjoyed reading and playing with her grandkids.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years James McCain; three sons Randall (Michelle) McCain, Jammie McCain and DeWayne (Christina) McCain; two granddaughters Brittany Stogner and Belle McCain with fiancée Matt Purvis; one grandson Hayden McCain; and two great-granddaughters Raiylon Vince and Lydia Korb; two sisters Linda Magee and Wilda Branch; one brother Charles Thomas; and a  host of nieces, nephews and loving family.

Pallbearers are Joseph Branch, Jeff Magee, Darren Thomas, Mike Thomas, Bobby Cheeks and Matt Purvis.

Visitation will be at Hartman-Hughes Chapel on Friday, September 27, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
