Lura Belle Dunaway

Graveside services for Lura Belle Dunaway, 92, of Bartlett, Tennessee will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Tylertown Cemetery. Mrs.Dunaway passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021. She was born September 27, 1928 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Elaine and Harold Rimes. Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband Dave Dunaway; sons Donald Paul Dunaway and Daniel Earl Dunaway; and brother Cole Rimes.

She was a longtime resident of Greenville, Mississippi where she spent most of her career nursing at King's Daughter Hospital. Her favorite past times were spending time with family, cooking, reading, and gardening. Upon retiring she moved back to Tylertown, Mississippi to the family "Dairy Barn". She was a longtime member of Tylertown Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons David (Sherry) Dunaway, Richard (Susan) Dunaway, Doug (Margaret) Dunaway, and Duane (Pamela) Dunaway; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.
