Funeral services for Linda Brumfield, 83, of Columbia, Mississippi will be held at12 Noon on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Capps Funeral Home with Bro. Clay Spinks officiating; Burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Brumfield passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021. She was born May 30, 1938 in Mississippi to the late Helen and Homer Sullivan. Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her siblings Roscoe Sullivan, Ronnie Sullivan, and Mattie Morris; first husband Doye Brumfield.

She was a longtime member of Mesa Baptist Church. Her hobbies included painting, gardening, cooking, sewing, and time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband Thad Brumfield; children Lank Brumfield, Anita (David) Lawrence, Laurie Dryer; and Jane Rouse; grandchildren Michael Brumfield and Melissa Hughes; great-grandchildren  J.J. Brumfield and Tatum Brumfield; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearer will be Rick Lyons, Ronnie Wheless, Chris Ivy, Ronnie Ivy, Michael Brumfield, and Sam Hudson.

Visitation will be at Capps Funeral Home on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon.
