Mable Vince, 84 of Jackson, MS passed away Friday, July 22, 2022.

Mable was born October 4, 1937 to Toxie and Myrtle Vince in Sandy Hook, MS. After graduating from Dexter High School in 1955, she moved to Jackson, MS and attended Draughon Business School. She worked for 43 years at Smurfit-Stone Containers.

Mable was preceded in death by parents, and sister Lena Vince. She is survived by sisters Dean Stogner of Sandy Hook, MS and Patsy French of Jackson, MS. Also left to cherish her memory are nephews Jeffie Stogner of Sandy Hook, MS, and niece Nancy Thomas (Jerry) of Sandy Hook, MS, Lori Hollinsworth (Barry) of Byram, MS, and Holly French of Lakewood, CO. She also leaves behind 6 great-nieces, and 2 great-nephews.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Carson Springs Cemetery in Sandy Hook, Mississippi.  Reverend Matthew Fancher and Reverend Jerry Kennedy will officiate. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Chad Thomas, Jeremy Stogner, Jerry Thomas, Jeff Stogner, John Fortinberry, Kevin Creel, and Barry Hollingsworth.
