Margaret Ellen Hinnant, 58 of Tylertown, MS passed away Monday, June 16, 2025. She was born Tuesday, January 3, 1967 in Natchez, MS.

Mrs. Ellen was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was a compassionate lover of animals of all kinds. She always enjoyed music, listening to her favorite albums and artists at max volume. She enjoyed spending time on the Bogue Chitto River, watching a good movie, and spending time with all of her animals. Ellen enjoyed cooking, and finding new recipes to try out, or even a new restaurant to try.

She was preceded in death by her father, Adrian Steele; mother, Wilma Mason Steele.

Survivors include her son, Chase Hinnant and wife Katie of Ogden, UT; brother, Robert Steele of Lafayette, LA; sister, Gwendolyn Holderfield and husband Steve of Fayetteville, NC; longtime friend Connie Rivero, along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.
