Memorial services for Marilyn Jean Rutland, 64, of Foxworth, Mississippi will be held at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel with Brother Jerron Carney officiating.

Ms. Rutland passed away at University Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi on Wednesday, August 14, 2019. She was born January 30, 1955 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Bobbie and Archie Turnage.

Marilyn was a very home centered person whose love and generosity knew no bounds. She enjoyed sitting on the porch drinking her coffee and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Her survivors include her children Nicholas (Jessica) Lee, Jeremy (Dianna) Rutland and Melanie (L.J.) Slocum; grandchildren Nikki Lee, Logan Lee, Kati-Lyn White, Liam White, Isaac White, Kaden Rutland, Brooklyn Slocum, Addisyn Slocum and baby Slocum; one brother; two sisters; a longtime companion Jerry Glyn Rutland; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, friends and family members.

Visitation will be at Hartman Hughes Chapel on Friday, August 16, 2019 from 4:00 p.m.until service time at 6:00p.m.
