Funeral services for Marilyn Stinson , 87, of Tylertown, MS will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Capps Funeral Home with Rev. Justin Knight officiating.

Mrs. Stinson passed away at The Claiborne in McComb, Mississippi on Saturday, October 10, 2020. She was born August 13, 1933 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Lela and Tillie Fortenberry. She was also preceded in death by her husband Charles Ray Stinson and sister Joanne Owens.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends while one of her favorite past times was reading. She ran the office for Stinson Service Center for many years. Mrs. Stinson was also a longtime member of Tylertown Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons Neil (Tammy) Stinson and Max Stinson; grandchildren  Kirk Stinson, Kody Stinson, Kasy Stinson, David Stinson, Jay Stinson, Tiffany Stinson, Victoria Stinson, Tyler Stinson; Numerous great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters Louie Fortenberry, Arlene Pigott, Bonnie Grubbs, and Billy Fortenberry; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Visitation will be at Capps Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 from 9:00 AM until service time at 10:00 AM.
