Marty Raymond Martin, 30 of Tylertown, MS passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023. He was born Thursday, September 9, 1993 in McComb, Mississippi.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Tylertown Cemetery in Tylertown, MS. Brother Jon Kennedy will officiate. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Marty enjoyed being outdoors whether it was working, hunting, fishing, floating the Bogue Chitto, or being on Magee's Creek, you can bet if the sun was out, he was outside enjoying it. Cooking was more of a hobby than a chore. He has been classified as a "Legend" among his friends for he was always making people laugh, being the life of the party, and always wearing his amazing smile. Marty loved to see people happy and to watch others achieve their accomplishments, which made him truly proud and excited for them. He graduated from Tylertown High School in 2012, while in high school he found his talent for showing and raising cows. Marty was a member of Lexie Baptist Church. He recently rededicated his life to the Lord and was rebaptized at New Bethel Jesus Name Church. Marty loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, their memories made together will forever be cherished.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Johnnie Chain; grandmothers Helen Jo Chain and Nell Martin; aunt Connie Flynn; and uncle Johnny Chain.

Survivors include his father Tony R Martin; mother Glenda Chain Martin; sisters Maranda Warren and Jodi Martin (Ryan Broussard); grandfather Shelby Martin (Barbara); nephews Zayden Broussard and Flynt Broussard; nieces Breanna Warren and Rosie Broussard; cousin Maggie Flynn; special friends Melvin Patterson and Joey Lambert; along with a host of loving family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Broussard, Wes Holmes, Kevin Smith, Jon Kennedy, Trey Pigott, and Cary Smith.

Honorary pallbearers will be Zack Broussard, Joey Lambert, Wesley Wood, Pat Pigott, Dustin Broussard, Chad Parish, Hayden Hitt, and Brayden Hitt.
