Mary Ellen Cade Mondul, 83, of McComb, passed away Friday December 23, 2022 in McComb, Mississippi. She was born January 31, 1939 in Progress, Mississippi. She graduated from Progress High School in 1956 and went on to become a Registered Nurse.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Albert Cade and Bertie Lee Blackwell Cade; brothers William Jack Cade, James Malcolm Cade, Arthur Burton Cade, Glen Blackwell Cade, and Royce Lamar Cade.

Survivors include her husband, Humberto Mondul; daughters Brenda Mondul Smith (Craig) and Vilma Mondul Cooper (Darren); granddaughter Sarah Smith; siblings Curtis Eugene Cade, Maxie Rebecca Cade Foster, and Raymond Cecil Cade; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A private family visitation will be at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home, 412 Beulah Avenue, Tylertown, Mississippi with a public graveside service and burial on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at Silver Springs Cemetery, 3020 Silver Drive, Osyka, Mississippi. Reverend Ray Wuerzer will officiate. Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home will oversee arrangements.
