Funeral services for Mary Holmes, 84, of Parrottsville, TN will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Capps Funeral Home with Brother Dan Perry officiating. Burial will be in the Holmes Family Cemetery.

Mrs. Holmes passed away at her residence on Sunday, October 11, 2020. She was born April 26, 1936 in Franklinton, LA to the late Ozzie and Dan Foil.  She was also preceded in death by her husband Altus Holmes; son Danny Brock; brothers Joseph Foil and Norris Foil.

Mrs. Mary was a member of Franklinton Baptist Church. She was a great mother and grandmother whom enjoyed spending time with her family. Mrs. Holmes was always kind, compassionate, and treated everyone like family. She will be missed.

Survivors include her children Shelia (Danny) Spence, Darrell Brock, Damon Brock, Leisha (Larry) Hurst, David Holmes, Shannon (Gregory) Heidelberg; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters Joan Simmons and Sharon Corken; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers are Kade Boyd, Ottis Spence, Dakoda Heidelberg, and Chris Depreo.

Visitation will be at Capps Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 8:30 PM. and on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 from 12 noon until service at 2:00 PM.
