Mary Jane Snell, 83, of Tylertown, MS passed away at her residence on Thursday, August 20, 2020. She was born October 28, 1936 in Winona, Mississippi to the late Mary and Robert McCorkle, Sr. She is also preceded in death by her husband Clyde Snell; sister Jimmy Ann Peters; and brother Robert L. McCorkle, Jr.

Mrs. Snell was a member of Tylertown United Methodist Church and retired after 25 years as bookkeeper at Walthall County Tax Assessor Office. She was an avid bridge player, who enjoyed gardening, shopping, and going out to eat. Mary Jane was a people person and a true animal lover. She had 3 special dogs: Schatzie, Toby, and Petey. But most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children Billy Ann (Randy) Alexander, Terry (Bruce) Barber, Stanley (Pam) McNeil, Cindy (Rodney) Fuqua, and Randy (his wife) Snell; grandchildren Courtney (Bill) Fortenberry, Kasey (Kade Guilbeau) Blackwell, Allison (Lucas) Thornton, Ashley (Jody Morgan) Boyd, Lindsey (Dalton Duncan) Barber, Kelly (Cody) Yarbrough, Whitley McNeil, and Clint McNeil; great-grandchildren Grant, Alysa, Kristen, Brody, Kenzie, Addy, Tyler, Dylan, Ava, Haley, Carlee, Ryleigh, Ella, Nash, and Dani; precious niece Bobbe Jane (Henry) Jolly; great niece Mary Jane (her husband) and family; nephew Patrick (his wife) Guy; and special friend Emelda Lott.
