Funeral services for Mary Louise Thornhill, 95, of Tylertown, Mississippi will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 12, 2021, at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Wicker officiating. Burial in the Enon Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Thornhill passed away at Diversicare in Tylertown, Mississippi on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. She was born November 15, 1925 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Margaret and Arthur Alford. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years William  RayThornhill; son Bruce Thornhill; siblings Thomas Alford, Hulon Alford, Travis Alford, and Martha Ann Ladner.

Mrs. Mary was a member of Enon Baptist Church. Her favorite thing to do was to look after and take care of her friends and family. She was always making sure other peoples needs were taken care of and checking up on everyone to see how they are doing. She had a giving heart and was a great cook. If you wanted to taste a piece of heaven you could just eat one of her cakes or pies.

Survivors include Billy Wayne (Cindy) Thornhill; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; Dan (Joan) Alford (Brother); daughter-in-law Jean Thornhill; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers are James Grantham, Trevor Thornhill, Jason Whitehead, Gavin Whitehead, Jacob Smith, and Will Smith.

Visitation will be at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home on Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and also on Friday, March 12, 2021 from 9:00 AM until service time at 10:00 AM.
