Melody Stuart, 68, of Sandy Hook, MS passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026 at her residence. She was born on November 26, 1957, to the late Robert Earl and Mary Louise Vince in Tylertown, MS. Mrs. Stuart loved reading, listening to music, enjoyed a good debate, and spending time with her family.

Melody is survived by her daughters, Brandi Crane (Jeremy) and Lisa Smith (Hunter); grandchildren, Connor Crane, Emma Smith, and Hayes Smith; brother Robert Kim Vince (Jan); niece, Kristin Singletary; nephew, Bo Vince; great niece, Averie Turnage; great nephews, Owen Singletary and Collin Singletary.

Pallbearers will be Bo Vince, Connor Crane, Owen Singletary, Collin Singletary, Hayes Smith, and Jeremy Crane.

A visitation will be held at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home, 412 Beulah Ave., Tylertown, MS 39667, on Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM with Bro. Carl Dickens officiating. Interment will follow at Carson Springs Cemetery. Hartman-Hughes is in charge of the arrangements.
