Melvin Richoux

Funeral services for Melvin Richoux, 67, of Tylertown, Mississippi will be held at1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Capps Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Schmidt officiating.

Mr. Richoux passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021. He was born December 29, 1953 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Lois and Clifton Richoux. Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by his brothers John Paul Richoux and Clifton Richoux Jr.; mother-in-law Wanda Crabs; and grandson D.J. Camardelle.

Melvin enjoyed drinking coffee with his friends at the Frog Pond, cutting grass, spending time with his family and collecting special items.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years Latricia Richoux; children Melvin (Candice) Richoux Jr. and  Misty (Jim) LeCompte; grandchildren Dontae Scheffler, Caine Scheffler, Savanna LeCompte, Heather Camardelle, and Kyra Camardelle, sisters Melevne (Glenn) Burke and JoAnn (Albert) Aucion; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Visitation will be at Capps Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
